Wedding shoes
You don't want your wedding day to be a reminder of why you hate wearing high heels!
Your wedding day is the one memory that lasts. Nothing should go wrong. It is the one day
you can spend money on yourself and not feel guilty about it. What is your perfect wedding day without
a perfect pair of comfortable wedding shoes?
Every bride has her own style: specifics about what is too much and too little, or which colour she'll prefer.
When choosing your wedding dress, you take the dress that gives you butterflies in your belly, don't you?
Why not the same when choosing your wedding shoes?
You probably thought you can wear any shoes because your guests won't see them.... you are wrong! It is good to have a little mystery
and only show guests a sneak peak of your shoes when you dance or walk.
Shoes are one of the most important accessories to a bride. As your new husband sways you across the dance floor for the first time (as a married couple)
Your guests will see your shoes. You do not want your guests to see you in sneakers, do you? That is if you're not runaway bride!
When choosing your shoes you need to be realistic. A high heel will not work for a beach wedding,
then again on a beach a nice ribbon braided around your feet will look beautiful and match your wedding theme.
A spike-heel for a garden wedding is also a big no-no. You will be sinking into the soil with every step and mud will
be stuck to your heel and dirty your dress. Brides, this means wedding venue and shoe choice walk hand in hand!
A brides shoes doesn't have to match her dress. Usually a bride will get married in white or off-white, a shoe is then
matched to the dress and dyed to get the same shade. Those days are gone. Brides choose colourful shoes! Red is a
very popular colour. No bride is obligated to get married in shoes the same colour as the dress.
Your shoe colour isn't the only aspect that matters, the amount of detail on the shoe is also important. With a busy bridal gown
you need shoes with little detail. If your dress has little detail you can choose a more detailed shoe and even consider making it the focus
point of your complete look!
There are no rules. Just go with your sixth sense and get a shoe you like!
A brides wedding shoes complete her picture. The perfect pair of wedding shoes can make your day! Smile as your groom sways you around on the dance floor, with comfort!
